About the Author
Edward Norman lectured in history at the University of Cambridge and is an Emeritus Fellow of Peterhouse. A former Reith Lecturer for the BBC, his most recent books include The Victorian Christian Socialists, Secularisation, and The House of God: Church Architecture, Style and History.

Everything you need to know about the Church

I bought this book for a college book report and it was excellent. The book looks long but in reality many of the pictures take up much of the space. The pictures themselves are amazing and strictly correspond with the topic the author is in. The author, a college professor, simply gives you a summary about what Christianity is and in the rest of the chapters he talks about the history of the Church itself over time(all of the history). Interesting book and WILL give you some information about what Roman Catholicism is. Recommended for research over the Church.
